The history of this place and the building where our hotel is located is connected with noble family Kwielecki.
The family Kwielecki owned manor assets of Licheń and surrounded villages within 1820 – 1940. These were the best years for development of Licheń as land estate. The historians discovered that family Kwielecki run the manor perfectly using innovative management system. The success of manor was a result of constant and personal control of executed works and control of the buildings. The Kwielecki family supported the reconstruction of the church ruined during fire, where in year 1853 was placed miraculous picture of Our Lady of Sorrows, Queen of Poland. Gorzelnia has been mentioned for the first time in 1863. Gorzelnia has been operating during the times of Władysław Kwielecki, who has been called one of the greatest land owners in the contemporary Warsaw Province.
Currently the building is partly modernized and partly built brand new. The remained old original elements are main entrance façade and large part of the pub.
